Competitive Rhythmic
Competitive Xcel Program
The Xcel program is a fun and very friendly competitive program for beginner gymnasts age 6-16. With less requirements and kinder judging, it teaches beginner gymnasts to compete. The Xcel program practices two days per week, on Saturdays and Sundays and occasionally on a Friday evening. Gymnasts will participate in competition events through USA Gymnastics and will receive a gold, silver or bronze medal according to their performance score in their competitions.
Students enrolled in this program don’t need to be experienced in gymnastics but will be a great bonus if they already know gymnastics or dance skills. They do need to be able to follow instructions, work hard and keep engaged for full length of the practice.
Our competitive team season starts in September and ends toward the end of June. Competitions start in January.
The Xcel program gymnasts also participate in our Spring Show performance in April.
